Peacock and May started life in a little shop on the beautiful Stydd Gardens, Ribchester.
Since then we have moved to a space just off Warwick Street, in the town of Longridge in order to be more accessible to our customers. We share the space with ‘Cloth Boutique’ who has a similar ethos to ours, sustainability and fair trade.
Our website – originally launched in 2020, has had a 2024 update so all of our products are available online.
We have expanded our offering from jewellery to a wide selection of eco-friendly, fair trade and sustainable gifts and homewares. Every brand is carefully selected on not only its green credentials but on its ethics and its desire to give back to the earth and its inhabitants.
We of course include ourselves in these high standards and are currently embarking on tree planting and local charity schemes.

The brands we have, use sustainably sourced materials and ensure the artisans who produce the homewares and jewellery are paid a fair price for their work.
We have carefully curated the brands and the pieces we offer, to ensure they are different from what other outlets offer.
We also have an important emphasis on quality. All the pieces are handmade and artfully imagined by skilful designers.
Our customers are equally at the heart of our business, we pride ourselves on the highest service standards and have gained some wonderful feedback from many delighted customers. This feedback, a real passion for ethical trade and the beautiful pieces we sell, spur us on to keep going and bring the joy of beautiful, sustainable, homewares to as many as we can.
